Hufvudstaden provides office and retailing premises in prime locations in Stockholm and Gothenburg. The company was founded in 1915 and is today one of Sweden's largest listed property companies and one of the strongest brands in the country within the property sector. When Hufvudstaden decided to develop a new coworking concept, Stylt was asked to create the brand as well as the interior design. The ambition was to establish a chain of offices with a high-end profile and boutique hotel vibe, based on key values such as togetherness, tradition, style, and dynamism.
The result was Cecil, a brand that pays tribute to one of Stockholm’s classic restaurants that opened in one of Hufvudstaden's first properties in 1917. For more than fifty years, this was where fun-loving Stockholmers lingered with movie stars and royalties and discovered novelties such as cocktails and jazz.
With the same sense for great hospitality and carefully selected details, today's Cecil is a place for discerning companies looking for personal, representative, and flexible workplaces of the highest class. The first Cecil office opened at Norrlandsgatan in Stockholm’s prime location Bibliotekstan, offering a 3200 m² facility for 300 members.
